Action for Carers - giving carers a voice

Action for Carers - formerly known as Dundee Carers' Forum - was set up to give carers a voice in planning and developing services in partnership with social work, health and voluntary organisations. It also provides support and advice on all matters related to the caring role.

The group meets every 8-12 weeks in Dundee Carers Centre. It involves carers in decisions on matters that affect their lives and the lives of the people they care for.

Would you like to join Action for Carers? As a member you can:

  • share your experiences with others
  • become involved in carers issues
  • exchange ideas
  • meet with other carers in a friendly setting
  • help each other
  • make a difference to services
  • find the support that you may need
