Carers Walking Group

The Walking Group undertakes short, low-level walks in the local area, usually meeting at the Centre in Ward Road and travelling by minibus to the location. The group meets every 1st Wednesday of the month (ex January). If you would like to take part, please contact Lisa or indigo on 01382 200 422.

Wednesday Carers Group

The Wednesday carers group is open to all carers and those you care for. It provides an opportunity to try a variety of activities, a chance to chat and enjoy a sandwich lunch. Meetings are held in the Central Baptist Church, 8 Ward Road  from 10.30am - 12.30pm. Upcoming dates are:

Courses for new carers

These courses are primarily aimed carers new to the Centre and/or new to the role of being a carer. You can join at any time. The groups meet at the Centre, Ward Road, 10.30-12 noon. Spaces are limited so please contact Lisa or indigo on 01382 200 422 to book your place.

Caring for someone who has dementia?

The information group training is run in partnership between the Dundee Carers Centre, NHS Tayside and the Alzheimer's Society. For more information, please contact Alison or Sharon on 200 422.

6 week course - 1-3pm on Mondays, 3 times per year
