Gentle Walking Group for Female Carers

The Ladies Walking Group undertakes short, low-level walks in the local area, usually meeting at the Centre in Ward Road and travelling by minibus to the location. The group meets every 1st Wednesday of the month (ex January). If you would like to take part, please contact Lisa or indigo on 01382 200 422.

NEW Male Carers Walking Group

Due to the success of the female walking group, the Centre has decided to start a similar group for male carers in the autumn. If you are interested in taking part, please contact indigo on 200 422.

Wednesday Carers Group

The Wednesday carers group is open to all carers and those you care for. It provides an opportunity to try a variety of activities, a chance to chat and enjoy a sandwich lunch. Meetings are held in the Central Baptist Church, 8 Ward Road  from 10.30am - 12.30pm. Upcoming dates are:

24 November    Christmas activities

Cinema Club

The cinema club meets at UGC cinema, Camperdown at 11am on the following dates:

Caring for someone who has dementia?

The following groups are run in partnership between the Dundee Carers Centre, NHS Tayside and the Alzheimer's Society. For more information, please contact Alison or Sharon on 200 422.

This group meets on the 1st Monday of each month 1-3pm
